DAAP Fashion Capstone Showcase

2017

While working as an Adjunct Instructor in the Industrial Design program at DAAP, I was commissioned by a fellow colleague in the Fashion Design department to design and build a simple wooden display for senior students to exhibit their capstone work during a showcase at the Contemporary Art Center. Each display is comprised of pine lumber and ply and bolts together for ease of transportation. 30" x 40" posters as well as process books and other brand collateral are displayed on the stand. Each display was identical and stand-alone to allow for the student work to be showcased in a uniform manner. The simplicity of the form allowed for the work to stand out.
